Spring & Fall Book Sales

UPL’s Spring and Fall Book Sales are run by our Library Trustees and volunteers. We sell good-condition used items, donated by the community or deaccessioned from the library collection. All proceeds directly support the library’s annual operating budget. Thank you for your support!

Donating Materials to the Book Sale

YES we are currently accepting materials for the next Book Sale. Please see below for our list of items we accept. The last day to donate books before the Spring Book Sale is Saturday March 21st.

Spring Book Sale 2026

Thursday 4/16 - 8:30am-6:30pm
All are welcome! TCSD classes will be invited to visit the sale and receive a free book

Friday 4/17 - 8:30am-5pm
All are welcome! TCSD classes will be invited to visit the sale and receive a free book

Saturday 4/18 - 10am-4pm
Name your price day!

Sunday 4/19 - 10am-2pm
Name your price day!

Book Donations

Before dropping off your donation please ask yourself, would I give this item to a friend? If the answer is no, please don’t give it to the library!

We graciously accept donations of gently used:

  • Books

  • DVDs

  • CDs

  • LP records

  • Games

  • Puzzles

Book donations can be brought to the front desk during library open hours. Please do not leave book donations in the exterior book drops.

We DO NOT accept:

  • VHS cassettes & audio cassettes

  • Any books that are moldy, smelly, and/or damaged

  • Textbooks, outdated computer books (over five years old)

  • Outdated books on health, disease, fitness, etc. (over five years old)

  • Outdated travel guides (over five years old)

  • Magazines

  • Puzzles or games with missing pieces

Items from the list above will need to be disposed of which creates unnecessary work for our volunteers and staff.
