Book Sales
Spring & Fall Book Sales
UPL’s Spring and Fall Book Sales are run by our Library Trustees and volunteers. We sell good-condition used items, donated by the community or deaccessioned from the library collection. All proceeds directly support the library’s annual operating budget. Thank you for your support!
Donating Materials to the Book Sale
NO we are not currently accepting materials for the next Book Sale. Thank you for giving us time and space to clean up after the sale! We will resume accepting donations on Monday May 4th.
Spring Book Sale 2026
Thank you to everyone in the community who donated materials, donated their time, or shopped the Spring Book Sale. Together we gave away 550+ books to our students, gave nine boxes of books to community partners, and brought in over $5,600 for the library’s annual operating budget. We appreciate you!
Book Donations
Before dropping off your donation please ask yourself, would I give this item to a friend? If the answer is no, please don’t give it to the library!
We graciously accept donations of gently used:
Books
DVDs
CDs
LP records
Games
Puzzles
Book donations can be brought to the front desk during library open hours. Please do not leave book donations in the exterior book drops.
We DO NOT accept:
VHS cassettes & audio cassettes
Any books that are moldy, smelly, and/or damaged
Textbooks, outdated computer books (over five years old)
Outdated books on health, disease, fitness, etc. (over five years old)
Outdated travel guides (over five years old)

Items from the list above will need to be disposed of which creates unnecessary work for our volunteers and staff.
